Install Lateral EMDR from the Zoom App Marketplace
Open Zoom, go to Apps → Explore, search for “Lateral EMDR”, and click Install. You only ever need to do this once.

- Do my clients need to pay or install anything?
- No. Clients are always free. They receive an app invitation inside Zoom and open it with one click.
- What if I need a subscription for multiple therapists in my practice?
- You can purchase as many subscription as you need from your dashboard. Each subscription is associated with one therapist's Zoom email address. The practice owner manages and pays for all subscriptions from a single account.
- Can I change which therapist a subscription belongs to?
- Subscriptions are locked to the Zoom email you enter at purchase to prevent sharing. If a therapist leaves or changes their email, you can cancel that subscription and buy a new one for the new email.
- What happens when I cancel a subscription?
- The subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then it deactivates.
- Is my clients' session data stored anywhere?
- No. Lateral does not record, transmit, or store any video, audio, or session content. The app runs entirely inside Zoom's sandboxed environment.
- What do I say if a client or colleague asks what I use for EMDR?
- You can simply say: "I use the Lateral EMDR app on Zoom."
