- Do my clients need to pay or install anything?
- No. Clients are always free. They receive an app invitation inside Zoom and open it with one click.
- What if I need seats for multiple therapists in my practice?
- You can buy as many seats as you need from your dashboard. Each seat is associated with one therapist's Zoom email address. The practice owner manages and pays for all seats from a single account.
- Can I change which therapist a seat belongs to?
- Seats are locked to the Zoom email you enter at purchase to prevent sharing. If a therapist leaves or changes their email, you can cancel that seat and buy a new one for the new email.
- What happens when I cancel a seat?
- The seat stays active until the end of the current billing period, then it deactivates. You're never charged for partial months after cancellation.
- Is my clients' session data stored anywhere?
- No. Lateral does not record, transmit, or store any video, audio, or session content. The app runs entirely inside Zoom's sandboxed environment.
- What do I say if a client or colleague asks what I use for EMDR?
- You can simply say: "I use the Lateral EMDR app on Zoom."
